It is an honour to receive a festival recommendation for a new category “Sustainability”, at the German Photo Book Award 2023. H is for Hemp has once more managed to accelerate the conversation about sustainability in the book-making world. The entire team of H is for HEMP is happy to continue on the path of expanding the boundaries for Sustainable Photobook Publishing! We have not found ultimate answers, but we have contributed to a new discussion with the hemp encyclopaedia filled with solutions storytelling and made on a tree-free paper, developed in cooperation with Hahnemühle.
The title will be on display in the photobook exhibition starting Nov. 25, 2023.
The photo book exhibition will take place as part of the INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES and will open on 11/25/2023 at 7:00 pm at the Städtische Galerie im Leeren Beutel in Regensburg.
And with joy we announce that additionally, the title will already be presented at this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair (18.-22.10.2023) on the booth of Deutscher Fotobuchpreis in Hall 3.1. booth J 109.
We invite your for a special Q&A session in the format of a conversation between Martin Rosner and Maren Krings, who will address the topic of the sustainability of paper and the production of the photo book.
