DE- Zum Thema Bildsprache in der Nachhaltigkeitskommunikation durfte ich gemeinsam mit Carel Mohn von Klimafakten.de für die Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt in Osnabrück zum CSR Kommunikation Kongress vortragen.
ENG- Together with Carel Mohn from Klimafakten.de, I was invited to speak on the topic of visual language in sustainability communication for the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (German Federal Foundation for the Environment) at the CSR Communication Congress in Osnabrück.
The keynote was delivered by Dr. Markus Riese from the Bayrischer Rundfunk with interesting developments in the public broadcasting sector. Our workshop was moderated by Dr. Tim Breitbarth, who coined a fantastic question to the audience: “What is your hemp?”
Carel Mohn presented a study conducted by Climate Outreach, More in Common and klimafakten.de on how people read images relating to the climate crisis nowadays. The interesting fact is, that this was the only study I found between 2019 and 2021 while finishing my book H is for HEMP to give any guidelines on how to more effectively and honestly communicate the topic. Therefore I want to share some links with those, who are equally interested in the topic and might have been searching for some deeper insight:
