The inaugural book presentations of “H IS FOR HEMP” took place at the largest hemp and cannabis expo in the USA, at the NoCo Expo in Denver, Colorado.
Noted German photographer and author Maren Krings will present her award-winning photography and stories from all over the world from her new book, H is for Hemp, chronicling the renewal of industrial hemp as a global agricultural crop.
The inaugural book presentation was followed by the first book signing session at the WAFBA booth.
A paper panel discussion moderated by Ed Lehrberger, founder and CEO of Purehemp Technologies, Darren Costanzo from Cottrell Paper, Morris Beegle from Tree Free Hemp Paper and Rolly from Roll with It, examined the status quo of hemp paper, after years of knocking on doors and sharing hemp pulp samples and data. Finally paper mills from coast to coast are beginning to utilize hemp fiber in a wide array of paper products. In the future, hemp paper products will be utilized in a myriad of applications.
